HELVIA renews the GALA series with a new generation of ceiling speakers that combines an even more discreet design with a coaxial two-way acoustic configuration. Six models, available both in 70V/100V versions and in 8 Ω low-impedance versions, provide a flexible solution for professional installations where sound quality and architectural integration need to coexist.
The new GALA series is the result of a precise evolution of the previous generation: improving the speaker’s aesthetic integration while also enhancing its acoustic characteristics.

The first difference is immediately visible. All new models feature a frameless grille, without the traditional outer frame. This design makes the speaker particularly discreet once installed in the ceiling and facilitates its integration into environments where the audio system needs to be present without interfering with the architectural design. Retail, hospitality, restaurants, offices and commercial spaces are the ideal contexts in which this feature provides tangible value, particularly for architects and designers.
The design has also been completely updated behind the grille. The previous full-range cones have been replaced by a coaxial two-way configuration, with a concentric woofer and tweeter. The woofer handles the low and mid frequencies, while the central tweeter reproduces the upper part of the spectrum, contributing to a more defined and articulate sound reproduction and improved voice intelligibility.

The coaxial configuration is also particularly effective in an in-ceiling speaker because the two acoustic sources remain aligned along the same axis, maintaining consistent sound distribution throughout the environment. This approach makes it possible to achieve higher perceived sound quality without giving up the compactness and simplicity that are typical of a ceiling speaker.
The range is available in three sizes, with 5.25", 6.5" and 8" woofers, respectively rated at 20, 30 and 40 W. The same platform is available in two electrical configurations: FW models incorporate a transformer for 70V/100V line systems, while FCW versions are designed for 8 Ω operation, allowing the GALA family to be used in a wide range of system designs. The 70V/100V line is particularly suitable for distributed and multi-zone sound systems, while the low-impedance version is intended for installations in which the speakers are connected directly to conventional amplification systems.

With this new generation, HELVIA retains the conceptual simplicity of the ceiling speaker while updating its two fundamental aspects: visual integration and sound reproduction quality. The result is a family of speakers designed to visually disappear into the ceiling, while becoming decidedly noticeable when sound quality comes into play.
The new GALA series comprises the GALA-520FW, GALA-630FW and GALA-840FW models for 70V/100V systems, and the GALA-520FCW, GALA-630FCW and GALA-840FCW models for 8 Ω installations, with ratings of 20, 30 and 40 W respectively.
